From African refugee camp to Olympic flag carrier

One of the athletes I am most looking forward to watching is Sudan-born runner, Lopez Lomong. Not only is he an amazing athlete, but he also one of the "Lost Boys" of Sudan. He had to flee the country's violence at age 6 and then lived in a refugee camp for 10 years before he was adopted by a family in upstate New York. I look forward to seeing him in the Opening Ceremony and in the 1,500 meter.
