Dreamphone

Have I mentioned how lcuky I am to have friends that (a) are wonderful cooks, Brynn made this delicious Roasted Shrimp and Orzo recipe and (b) have awesome games from the 90s!!!

Brynn pulled out her 1991 edition of Dreamphone and it was better than I remembered! What a great game! If you haven't played it, you get all these clues who tell you which boy likes you, and then you call him to find out if its him or if he rejects you. Such a fun night!

And we of course had to do a little photo shoot with the iphones.

Brynn finding out that "he's not wearing blue jeans..."

which boy likes me....

SO.... ok... this is pretty random I realize... but I'm pulling for any kind of small miracle! As fate would have it, while visiting my parents for my future sister-in law's bridal shower... I found my STILL FUNCTIONING electronic dream phone. I even have all of the directions, game sheets and each of the dreamy 24 boys' game cards. So then I thought man this will be totally awesome to play for his fiance's bachelorette party. Good bye Pretty, Pretty Princess, hello my reunion to my favorite girl hood pasttime ever: Dream Phone.

However... as fate would sickenly and twistedly have it..... my reckless 15 year old self brought Dream Phone with her on a marching band trip in high school and clearly didn't think to keep all the pieces of the game together so that ten years later her much wiser quarter-life crisis self could play this game again.... and so I can't find the board game. It would almsot hurt less if the phone didn't work... So now I don't have any of the clues... I won't know who eats hot dogs who plays volley ball etc. etc.

So ... here's a very weird request from a stranger who found your blog by google-imaging "dream phone board game"... Would you at all be willing to take a picture of each section of the board game and then emailing them to me so that I could assemble a "this will have to do" version of the board?
