Show us your city: Seattle

Jax at The Roaring Twenties asked us to show us your city and I am so happy to show off the lovely city of Seattle! I can't take credit for these pictures though, and the links are below:

Seattle has lots to offer, unique neighborhoods, we are surrounded by water and mountains within view of the city. So we can do water sports and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

We are also home to Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon.com and Starbucks.

The Wall Street Journal recently named us as the #1 Next Hot Youth-Magnet City and have been on the "best cities" list from Forbes, CNN Money, Business and U.S News & World Report.

MSN also named us the Most Educated City in the US!

We also have lovely suburbs close to the city (and if its good enough for Bill Gates, its good enough for anyone!)

How exciting is it to live in the "Hot Youth Magnet" city, how fun :-) I've never been, though I've always viewed it as a cool city. Does it rain as much as people think? I LOVE that first image of Seatle!

I've wanted to visit Seattle for quite some time. Hubby has been many times but my schedule never works out so that I can accompany him on one of his trips. We really wanted to come this year when LSU played Washington! I'll make it there one of these days =)

I've wanted to visit Seattle for the longest time, but have never gotten the chance! I've heard you can't get fresher seafood anywhere in the country!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog earlier...it was great to meet you!!

GORGEOUS photos! Thanks so much for participating and linking! (some peeps forgot to link, I think...haha.. whatevs.. fun anyways). :) And I had no idea Seattle was ranked the hot youth magnet city. I also love that it's most educated! That's something I dig about bigger cities...meeting people from all areas who have such a diverse educational background.. So interesting. I'm seriously not lying when I say Seattle is tops of my list for places to visit in the US. I've just always wanted to go there and you're definitely making me want to go more!!!

I've always wanted to visit Seattle. Wanted to go to school there actually. Its climate is supposed to be similar to what we're having here, so I was once told I should feel at home there. :D
Thanks for sharing!!!

You know- I've wanted to visit your lovely little city ever since watching "Sleepless in Seattle" as a little girl. Does that magnetic pull put me in the "Hot Youth" category? :)

p.s. Hubby and I are just starting season 3 of LOST. We seem to be in about the same place!
