Wishful Wednesday: vacation

Photobucket

'I wish' .... I was going on vacation tomorrow, and I would want to go ... all over Europe!

So Nick and I are leaving for France next month (eeek!!!) BUT in my Wishful Wednesday world, I would so love to stay a couple of months and go all over Europe! Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future Nick and I can spend a longer time doing just that.

My favorite saying: have suitcase -- will travel!!

And on our same Paris note, I finally got around to booking our Paris hotel, thanks to Rick Steves (still working on the plan for the rest of the time there)! Our hotel is on the left bank, very close to the river and center of Paris in an area called Saint Germain. How cute is this street in the neighborhood we'll be in?!

I did a 2 week trip all over Europe back in 2002.. BEFORE digital cameras and my pictures sucked! I'm sure you don't need to be reminded to take pictures :-) I bet you're SO excited, like a kid getting excited for Christmas! That is SO neat! :-)

I totally added this to my list after Ashely went there for her honeymoon. Talk about clear water and a heavenly place to die on!!

We HAVE to talk about Thailand because I am extremely overwhelmed trying to plan such an intense trip over the internet when I can't talk to anything over the phone. Ahhh, this is why I like cruises, hah!

You're going to have such a brilliant time! I visited Paris while living in Scotland and the city was lovely! I was only there for 2 days, but we packed so much in. I would love to go back and spend a nice relaxing week or two exploring all of its treasures. :)

Just saw your comment! I may or may not have posted a zillion posts from my vacation b/c I was slightly obsessed.. haha.. Sooo.. yeah. but here's the final day and it links all the other posts to it if you're curious (and have some time to kill). I cant say enough good things about St. Lucia... the people are amazing, the place is gorgeous, the food was amazing.. We stayed in 3 different places b/c we wanted to go everywhere on the island.. And the sandals place was full of honeymooners.. which we were not. We didn't mind and nothing against Sandals at all..it's very nice, but we just kinda wanted to do our own thing, ya know. :) So, here's the link! You would LOVE St. Lucia!!! :)

Um...super cute blog! I'm glad you found mine! That's great that you're leaving next month for there. I went there in 2007 and LOVED it!

I hope I didn't sound snippy about Sandals!! We had a TON of people ask us if we were on our honeymoon...and that sent us straight into awkwardville USA.. LOL! It really was quite comedic.. haha... Our friends all tease us that we went on a honeymoon before we've even gotten married! haha! Anyway, so we just didn't book Sandals b/c we'd heard they have a lot of activities for newlyweds, etc. :) I was like "oh no.. I hope that didn't come across snippy.. I didn't mean to be snippy.." haha.. OCD=me.

okay, this is my last comment on this blog post-I promise.. LOL! :)

Have a great day!!!
