France trip day 3: Paris

Day three began with a leisurely morning walk around a neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower around the 7th arrondissement. We didn't really go to see anything in particular, just looks around and of course grab some chocolate croissants and sandwiches from a boulangerie.

After a long, lovely morning walk we went to the Rodin museum…

relaxing in Rodin's gardens

Then to Napoleon's Tomb…

And finally to the Orsay Museum, which houses famous impressionist paintings. They let you take pictures, as long as your flash is turned off...

The building is really cool to look at, its actually an old train station they converted into a museum...

And of course to top off another yummy French meal, I stopped by a crepe stand on the street and was in Nutella heaven for the rest of the night!

Aww my best friend lives right across the Rodin museum, next to the Invalides ! Wandering around in Paris without a precise purpose is often the best way to visit the city :) You guys saw a lot in 3 days, I'm really impressed !

I 75% want to go there just to eat. Ah ha ha

I wish I had made it to the Orsay Museum when I was there...it must have been so cool to see all of those classic paintings! Monet was one of the first painters I remember liking when I was a kid. :)
