Snowflake Lane and a Christmas party

This weekend was definitely our kickoff to the holiday season, yay!
On Saturday, Nick’s parents, his sister Julia and I went over to Bellevue, a beautiful city just east of Seattle for a parade they do every year called Snowflake Lane. During the show they play Christmas music, hand out candy, have the local high schoolers dress up as toy soldiers playing drums and it even "snows!"

After Snowflake Lane, we went out to dinner to celebrate his mom’s birthday, and then after a yummy dinner Nick and I were back over to Seattle for a Christmas party our friends were throwing.

That looks like such a fun weekend! I adore the idea of a holiday snowflake parade. I keep missing all of the things around here that are similar. :) And you two look adorable at the Christmas party [as well as Brynn!]. :)
