Ivy, Jessamyn, Lindsay, Heather, Angela, Ashley, Meghan, Jessica, Courtney, Joleen, Erin (master planner of the weekend), Tara, Merrilee, Baillie and Brynn - thank you so much for the most amazing weekend a girl could ask for! It was the perfect bachelorette weekend and made possible by you all. I don't think words could express how thankful I am for you all...

A few girls couldn't make it due to other commitments, but they were there in spirit, including fellow bloggers Michelle and Carrie.

Wishful Wednesday: Pottery Barn bedroom

'I wish'...I could come home to this Pottern Barn bedroom every night

Finding my dream bedroom was easy for me - I just opened the Pottery Barn website! I love the look of a clean, simple, organized bedroom like this. The bookshelves, fireplace, mirrors - perfection!

And my bedding, the Pottery Barn Pearl Collection in sandelwood (which just happens to be my new bedding - well from my registry!)

Greek feast

I made two delicious recipes last night I had to share. I love Greek food but usually I do take out from the Greek restaurant near me, but last night I attempted to make my own Greek food and I think it was a success!

I made Ina Garten's spanakopitas (really easy to do once you get used to using phyllo dough)

And I also made Martha Stewart's mini Greek lamb burgers which my friend Erika made last week too.

Tahitian honeymoon is booked!

An exciting weekend over here for Nick and me - we booked our honeymoon for French Polynisia! We'll be island hopping to....



and my ultimate dream - Bora Bora!!

and we'll be staying in one of these!

I am so excited for all the things to come in the next few months!

Biking to work

I have exciting news to share - I am an official bike commuter! Yay! May is "Bike to Work Month" so with the help of work friends, I dusted off an old hand-me-down bike from my mom, made the leap and started riding into work!

And we've been making morning or afternoon food rides to Top Pot donuts, Marination (a Korean taco truck) and tomorrow is Belgian waffles!

I am so happy that I decided to stop out of my comfort zone and try something new because I found I really enjoy riding my bike and look forward to lots more fun rides around Seattle!

Dinner at Canlis

One of the best. most beautiful and most expensive restaurants in Seattle is Canlis. It has a long list of prestigious awards for its food and their wine selection has been given thirteen consecutive Wine Spectator Magazine Grand Awards - one of 72 restaurants worldwide to be given the award.

So, this restaurant is quite the fancy place in town so you can imagine my excitement when I saw they were participating in Seattle's Restaurant Week - where you can get a three course dinner for $25 per person! Score!! I made reservations immediately and I am so glad I did because shortly thereafter they ran out of reservations spots and had to close their waiting list at 80 groups!

It was such a perfect meal and I have my meal to share:

We first had an amuse bouche of a gazpacho soup and then the award winning Canlis salad. And their website even gives you the recipe - check it out here! I will for sure be making this at home sometime.
