Holiday filled weekend

This past weekend was full of holiday activities and I am officially in the Christmas mood!

On Friday, Nick and I went to see the Pacific Northwest Ballet's The Nutcracker with our friends Jackie and Chris. It was awesome! I did ballet for so long and I still love it so much! The PNB is in Seattle and is actually considered one of the top 3 ballet places in the country (I didn't know that until I read it in the program).

Then on Sunday, I went to the 5th Avenue Theater with my mom to see A Christmas Story The Musical. I love this movie and watch it multiple times in December. It was hilarious and my mom and I still have some songs stuck in our heads.

And to top off a great weekend, the Huskies beat the WSU Cougars in our annual riverly game, the Apple Cup. Holiday Bowl here we come!

I love the 5th Avenue Theatre! And it looks like A Christmas Story will be running until the end of the month. I might have to get some tickets to that!

I LOVE the Nutcracker! I've gone every year since I was a kid to the Lincoln Center in NYC to see it, and it makes me feel like a kid again EVERY single time!
I didn't even KNOW there was A Christmas Story Musical! How did I miss out on that?! That picture with the lamp absolutely cracked me up - when I was student teaching, one of the spelling words was "fragile," and I tied it into the movie where the dad says that it must be Italian! You never know where the holiday movies we grew up on will come and help you! ;)
Hope you have an amazing weekend, Carol!
(P.S. Did you know Williams Sonoma has cooking classes? They get booked REALLY early, but it's definitely something I'm looking into and thought you'd be interested!).
