Friday we went out to Bastille in the Ballard neighborhood. It's a cute French restaurant and we got truffle pasta, lamb burgers and cassoulet (a French stew). Everything was so good! And we saved room for cupcakes at the bakery down the street.

Then on Monday, we made one of our favorite meals together: homemade pasta (made by Nick) and a bolognese sauce (made by me).
In an effort to stick with my 2011 goals of learning about photography, I took some pictures of master chef Nick making our fresh pasta.
