6 month anniversary celebration

Since Monday was our 6 month anniversary, Nick and I celebrated over the weekend!

Friday we went out to Bastille in the Ballard neighborhood.  It's a cute French restaurant and we got truffle pasta, lamb burgers and cassoulet (a French stew).  Everything was so good! And we saved room for cupcakes at the bakery down the street.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the restaurant (I forgot my camera so these are from their website)

Then on Monday, we made one of our favorite meals together: homemade pasta (made by Nick) and a bolognese sauce (made by me).

In an effort to stick with my 2011 goals of learning about photography, I took some pictures of master chef Nick making our fresh pasta.

Finished product!

I LOVE Ballard! Have you ever eaten at La Carta De Oaxaca?

I haven't had homemade pasta since I was a kid. Maybe I'll ask the hubby to make some. (He's the cook. I have accepted my inability to make anything edible. LOL!)
