Fudgy Rocky Road Bars

I don't know about everyone else, but I must always have something for dessert after dinner.  Preferably for lunch too but that doesn't always happen.

My Martha Stewart Everyday Food magazine had an awesome dessert in there that has been a staple in my fridge because it is beyond easy to make.  The recipe calls for almonds but I used peanuts. I think any nut would be good - hazelnuts, macadamia nuts...yum!

Did I mention its beyond easy, and only 5 ingredients!  Recipe found here.  Martha scores again!

Ooh, I love that this is so easy. I might cheat and add a little bit of peanut butter to it. In my opinion everything is better with a little peanut butter!

I'll give it a try and report back.

Mmmm, me too, giant sweet tooth here!

I just started having a chocolate calcium chew as my lunch "dessert" to try to be healthier, but dinner is almost always an ice cream bar. ;)

Yum-EE! I'm the same way. I can't go to bed without snack time! We've cut out lunch snacks though because two desserts in one day is too much. :)

Good afternoon from Tokyo!

Carol these look positively sinful...and as I've yet to fill my sin quota for the week, this just may be the solution.

Thank you for sharing!

Warmly,

The worst thing about the internet is seeing all these delicious recipes that add five kilos to each thigh just by looking at them and that which I have no self-control over stopping myself from making. The worst and the best thing. Sigh.
