So we did what a lot of people do: first look pictures! We did it at Volunteer Park in a shady, grassy area and it was just perfect. Nick finally got to see the dress I had picked out six months earlier and it was a memory I will have with me forever.

I love these! I'm not even engaged yet but I know that when I get married I want to do a first look. There's just something so romantic about it and I feel like it would calm you down from all the stress and pressure of that moment in the church so you can actually enjoy it.

Such a beautiful first look - I love the lighting! We did a first look too, and I'm SO glad! I love the pictures, it calmed my nerves, and my walk down the aisle was still just as special (and when my groom cried).

Carol, I LOVE this look at all your wedding pictures, and these are no exception.
I love the idea of a private first look between the bride and groom - and obviously the two of you are so good looking that it just adds to it ;) The lighting, the location, everything about these pictures just work.
