| Good morning Croatia |
Our first stop to the city was Diocletian's Palace - the home of an ancient Roman Emperor.

After that we climbed a Bell Town in the Palace that gave us some great views of the water and city.

We then walked around the center of town, including the large outdoor market
Rick Steves mentioned a hill nearby that had good views of the city so we climbed a lot of stairs to get there but the view was well worth it
After our impromptu hike we made our way to a little restaurant and had an excellent lunch of fresh seafood (fish and grilled calamari) and then strolled around the town's center
We ended the day on the ship with a relaxing lay by the pool, delicious dinner and got a great view of Split as we sailed off
Goodbye to Split! |
