Fall cooking fun

Hope everyone is having a great week so far! I've been enjoying doing some fall cooking and wanted to share some of my faves!

Butternut squash mac and cheese
This is from a great cooking website called How Sweet It Is and I found it via Pintrest of course!  It's really good and fairly healthy, you're getting your mac and cheese fix with veggies!

Ina Garten's Italian Wedding Soup
Soup staple in our household - I love this soup so much!  I made it for the first time this season and I know I'll be making it again soon.  The chicken meatballs are so good I could eat them just by themselves!

Ina Garten Cream Of Fresh Tomato Soup
Ina does it again!  I actually make this one without the cream and I think it's just as good without.  And when I can't get fresh tomatoes I just get good canned ones.

Also, my blog friend and fellow Seattlite, Ashley, had me as a Travel Tidbits and Tips guest poster on her awesome blog!  She recently got married in Mexico and honeymooned in Belize, her pictures are amazing!  Check out my guest post and her fun travel blog!

my fave travel buddy! :)

Oh wow, I LOVE mac n cheese but I never eat it because it's so bad for you. But I'm going to try the Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese immediately, thanks!

Is it strange that I've always been intimidated by butternut squash? It always seems like it is only on the menus of restruants that have too many forks for their own good. But when you add it to mac and cheese?... now we're talking :)

Also I saw that you were reading "Gone Girl." I just started a few days ago and I can't put it down! Definitely a page turner and one that I cannot predict the ending too.
